EP 117 – International Travel, Backpacking, Mental Health & the Tech Pandemic: Glen Anderson

Glen Andersen is an outdoor guide from our home state of Utah. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in leadership and group dynamics, and a master’s degree from the University of Utah in outdoor adventure programming. After working for a few years as a youth seminary teacher for his church, Glen decided to merge his love of the outdoors, his experience working with young people, and his faith into one project. That being, “Youth Wilderness Experiences”, a program dedicated to helping religious teenagers disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and God. Our mission at Outdoor Vitals is to get people outdoors and improve lives with better outdoor experiences, so we’d love to talk to Glen today about what he’s learned about helping people of all ages do just that.
